The Hague lives up to its name as an international city of education, with the largest selection of international schools on offer in the Netherlands. The Hague and its suburbs also offer a large number of private English-speaking playschools, day care facilities and after school care. On this page you will find useful information on different international schools and childcare facilities in The Hague region.

The Hague region has two schools with an international educational programme, four foreign international schools (British, French, American and German), a European school (primary school), smaller schools associated with embassies (Polish, Indonesian) and an international school for special education.

On the ACCESS website you will find useful information on how international education is organised in the Netherlands.

Here you will find an overview of all the international primary schools and international secondary schools in the region.
