Every year St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated by over 75 million people worldwide. And for the 9th time in a row the centre of The Hague turns green. With festivities running from early afternoon until late at night, you'll find live performances, sports, great music, a lot of dancing and ofcourse, large pints of Guinness. Be Irish for one day and come celebrate at the Grote Markt.
Scheveningen turns green as well
Rather spend the day on the beach? No problem! The ferris wheel in Scheveningen is one of the 300 iconic locations in the Netherlands which celebrate St Patrick's Day by turning green, better known as the 'Global Greening'.
The festival is free for public. So join the festivities on March 17 in The Hague.
