On Thursday June 6 The Hague International Centre organises ‘Welcome to The Hague’. So would like to get to know The Hague better? Meet fellow expats? Receive information about formalities, schooling, healthcare and housing? And tips on what to do in your free time? Then this event might just be the thing for you!
The programme includes:
- an overview of useful resources for finding information.
- an opportunity to ask questions.
- presentations on ‘Living in the Netherlands’ and ‘Who are the Dutch’.
- information about The Hague International Centre, ACCESS and tourist information.
- a walking tour of The Hague's historic city centre.
- we'll end the walking tour with a free drink in the city centre

Please note: While the event will be of particular interest to new residents of The Hague, people living in the surrounding region are welcome to attend. There are no facilities or activities for children during this event.
About The Hague International Centre
We offer information and guidance about living and working in The Hague region. We also take care of formalities such as municipal registration, citizen service number (BSN), issuance of residence permits. Moreover, we organise events for you to settle in The Hague region. We do this in close collaboration with our partners ACCESS and the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND).
Participation in the Welcome to The Hague programme is free of charge but registration is required.
