This year, the 27th edition of the Crossing Border Festival in The Hague takes places between Tuesday 29th of October and Sunday 3rd of November. With more than 100 writers, artists and musicians from all over the world, the international festival aims to connect and inspire people.
The literature, music and arts festival takes place during the day and in the evening on multiple stages of Theater aan het Spui, De Nieuwe Kerk, festival tent Katrina and the Centrale Bibliotheek. You can expect imaginative storytelling, artistic vision, exciting new talent, music performances and many more. A distinctive, contemporary literature programme is at the core of the festival with more than 100 authors live on stage each year. Also part of the programme are crossovers with pop, film, art and digital culture.
Crossing Border Festival is founded in 1993 in The Hague. Ever since, the festival grew in size and scope, but remained a place without borders where audience and artists can connect on- and offstage. Some of the literary and musical highlights of the interdisciplinary festival are Kate Tempest, Hilary Mantel, The Organist Live Podcast and László Krasznahorkai.
Tuesday 29th of October until Sunday 3rd of November.
For both the (local) Dutch and (local) internationals.
You can find the entire Festival Schedule on the Crossing Border Website. Here, you can also buy your tickets (starting at €6,-).
