As an online specialist, you can place The Hague International Centre on the digital map. You know how to reach the international target groups through the website, newsletters and various social media channels. Moreover, you will contribute to the development of PR material, provide online reports and optimise management. You will be responsible for content creation, generating traffic and attracting new followers through multiple online tools. You are able to actively monitor all online publications using analytics. In addition, your reports contain conclusions, recommendations and advice on better reaching the international target group. You will ensure good findability (SEO) and usability of the website. The newsletters will also be your responsibility, from writing content to sending them directly from the e-mail marketing system. Contacting our partners about delivering and sharing content is also part of the job. You can empathise with the needs of internationals and/or have experience in the international community. You will contribute to the event programme for internationals and are committed to increasing the brand awareness of The Hague as an internationally attractive and hospitable city.

The Hague International Centre

The Hague International Centre is the point of contact for international staff of organisations and companies in The Hague, Delft, Leidschendam-Voorburg and Rijswijk. We offer information and guidance about living and working in The Hague region. We also take care of formalities such as municipal registration, citizen service number (BSN), issuance of residence permits. We do this in close collaboration with our partners ACCESS and the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND).

What are we looking for?

- You have a higher professional education (HBO) level of work experience and thinking
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience as an online specialist/marketing/content
- Excellent command of written English (native speaker would be an advantage) - You are enthusiastic and proactive, and you have good analytical, communication and social skills
- Experience with CMS and CRM systems
- Experience producing and optimising content with an informative, advisory and inspiring character for online and offline material
- Extensive experience with Google Analytics, SEO, usability and e-mail marketing is an advantage
- You follow developments in the area of social media and are up to date on the latest trends.
