Spring Break is just round the corner, but with the lockdown in effect, many parents have run out of ideas to keep their children occupied. We have dived into our archives and searched the internet to find covid-proof alternatives to stay active and entertained during this holiday.

Scavenger hunt in the Haagse Bos

If you and your children like to solve puzzles, then you will want to download the Haagse Bos App (for free) and participate in their scavenger hunt. You can choose from three tours: the entire forest, the surroundings of Huis den Bosch Palace or the surroundings of Koekamp/Malieveld. Please note that the puzzles are in Dutch.

Get a snack pack together with the scavenger hunt questions and off you go into the lovely Ockenburgh estate for some great outdoor fun! Please note that the questions are in Dutch.

Enjoy Van Gogh museum from home

We may not be able to visit the museum in person, but the home to the largest collection of Van Gogh's work has offered his masterpieces for you to admire online. These are high-quality scans of his canvases which you can zoom in to examine in detail. You will also find creative activities for children and compelling stories about the famed artist himself.
