Meet your City Council
What can the Hague City Council mean for you? How can you influence decisions in the city? Who are our council members and what can they do for you?
This is your chance to get to know all the ins and outs! Come to ‘Meet your City Council’ and talk to the council members in an informal way.
Whether you have a specific question, are curious about how local politics work or just want to get to know the city council; the council members would like to meet you and hear what is going on in your neighbourhood. This event is for international residents and entrepreneurs from The Hague. The event will be held in English.

What can you expect?
• Knowledge quiz: what do you know about the city council? Test your knowledge and learn more!
• Speed date with the council: in small groups, you will talk to different council members. Ask your questions and share your ideas, concerns and wishes for your neighbourhood and the city.
• Meet & Mingle: we end the evening with a drink and snacks, while you continue talking to council members and other internationals in an informal setting.
When?
Wednesday 24 September 2025
From 19:30 - 21:00 CET (doors open at 19:00 and afterwards there will be drinks and you will have the opportunity to meet & mingle).
