In September 2019, the Rijnlands Lyceum Wassenaar will open its doors to international students. The new school will be called the ‘International School Wassenaar – Rijnlands Lyceum’

International education

The International School Wassenaar will be formed as part of the Rijnlands Lyceum Wassenaar. Therefore, it will be possible for expat students to follow international education in the context of a Dutch high school. Expat children will, as such, be part of the local community.

The International School Wassenaar will deliver the IB-Middle Years Programme (MYP) which is an international educational programme for students between 11-16 years of age. After studying the MYP programme, students progress onto the full International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma programme. This is a two-year course which ends with examinations which are applicable for entry into university.
