Summer camps and schools

Are you still musing how to involve your child in purposeful and engaging activities this summer? Consider a summer camp. The Hague hosts a plethora of day camps, and there are several sleepaway camps around the region as well. If you have attended one before, you already know how entertaining it can be, and if not, there are several options that offer just a few days or even a single day program, so your offspring can get a feeling if they're comfortable there.

Here is a list with brief descriptions (it’s extensive, but not complete) of places offering summer programs, where at least a portion of the attending children are of international background, and the guidance is offered in English, listed, approximately, from the most international to mostly Dutch groups. The list starts with day camps and ends with a few sleepaway camps. Daily camp activities usually start around 8-9 AM and finish 5-6 PM; a quick check with the provided website will provide most of the information you’ll need, e.g. availability of lunch or special needs accomodation.
