Summer day camps around The Hague
If you are not planning to go away this summer, there are plenty of options for your children to spend their holiday. From surfing at sea to snowboarding indoors, we have found an exciting list of summer camps around The Hague to keep your children occupied. Here are our recommendations for summer 2023.

For children aged 4 – 12 years
Location: Wassenaar and Scheveningen
When: Starting from 10 July
Price: €116.38 full day
Every day promises to be different and exciting! There are daily field trips planned with lots of time spent in nature. Children will get the chance to take part in certain activities for the first time, gain confidence, make friends and learn new skills.
For children aged 4 – 12 years
Location: Wassenaar (Meijendel) and The Hague (Landgoed Ockenburgh)
When: 17 July – 21 July from 9.00 – 16.00hrs
Price: €77.00 per day (minimum of 3 days a week)
Campers will enjoy a different programme every day that includes circus in the forest, treasure hunts, ball games at the beach, crafting kites, and more! With a large part of the day spent in the forest and dunes.
For children aged 4 – 12 years
Location: Leidschenveen, Benoordenhout, Bomenbuurt/Statenkwartier and Edge of Archipel

The camp offers different themed programmes for different age groups and two exciting field trips weekly! And plenty of opportunities for (outdoor) sports and recreational activities.
Sporty or active camps
Outdoor Valley Summer Camp (in Dutch)
For children aged 8 – 17 years
Location: Outdoor Valley (close to Rotterdam)
When: Starting from 26 July
Price: From €349,50 p.p.
Children and youths will learn knot tying, climbing, survival, archery, canoeing and much more. It promises to be an adventurous week to remember!
For children aged 3 – 10 years
Location: The Hague and Scheveningen
When: To be announced
Price: Prices on request.
Children can participate in a range of instructor-led sports such as tennis, hockey, cricket, football, rugby, athletics, basketball, baseball and volleyball.
For children aged 6 – 16 years
Location: Zoetermeer
When: from 10 July – 28 August
Price: €357,50
Children will learn to ski or snowboard in this fun five-day camp that is also filled with other exciting snow activities! This camp is suitable for children with or without experience on the slopes.
For children aged 9 – 12 years and 12 – 16 years
Location: Leusen (9-12) and Bladel (12-16)
When: 15 – 22 July
Price: €225-€235
The ‘Bouwdorp’ is an initiative from YMCA Ypenburg that is organised by a group of enthusiastic volunteers. Children and youths will spend most of their time building their own hut, which they can sleep in on the last night of the camp. It also includes other activities like making crafts and swimming.
Surf or sailing camps
For children aged 10 – 18 years
Location: Scheveningen and Wassenaar
When: 10 July – 18 August
Price: €435 per week
Campers will learn everything about sailing a catamaran and may get a ‘Zeehelden’ diploma at the end of the week. There will be other activities planned throughout the week such as body boarding, surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking and games!
For children aged 6 – 10 years and 11 – 15 years
Location: Scheveningen
When: 10 July – 19 August
Price: From €75 p.p.
Children will learn to surf in small groups in the morning. There will also be other water or beach activities in the afternoon such as power kiting, longboarding in the dunes, freerunning, and graffiti workshops!
Sup en Surf Delft Kids Surf Camp (in Dutch)
For children up to 15 years
Location: Delft

Price: €249 for 3 days
Learn to windsurf in the lovely Delftse Hout. Campers will learn about the theoretical components of windsurfing, and spend most of the day practicing in the waters. Please check with the organiser if this camp will go ahead in view of the coronavirus measures.
