The Hague International Centre to close at 13:00 today due to Storm Eunice

Published

Storm Eunice is due to hit the Netherlands this afternoon, and the Dutch meteorological office has issued a number of Red and Orange warnings across the country. The storm is likely to bring very strong winds, and everyone is being urged to stay inside this afternoon; and to secure any outdoor furniture and items on balconies.

All train services across the Netherlands will end just before 14:00 today, whilst The Hague's buses and trams will also stop at 14:00. The Rotterdam tram network will also stop all services at around 13:00.

The Hague International Centre to shut at 13:00

Due to the danger to the public, the City of The Hague will be closing the city hall at 13:00. This means that all appointments planned for this afternoon at The Hague International Centre will be re-arranged. Our staff members are busy calling everyone with an affected appointment to help them re-arrange.

All staff will leave city hall by 13:00, and people will not be able to access the building. If you have any questions, please email us at internationalcentre@denhaag.nl
