German International Klub in the Netherlands

The German International Klub in the Netherlands aims to further contact between everyone interested in the German language and culture, regardless of nationality.

Most of the activities are based in and around The Hague. Every 3rd Friday there is a Club Meetup (Stammtisch). Our typical German activities include a New Year’s Reception, Bavarian Oktoberfest and German style Christmas.

KulturNetzaanZee: our focus lies on The Hague - the city, its culture and its history. Together with other German speakers we want to experience the city - educational, but not dusty. This is done both digitally and on site. Everything is possible: Curious participation or active input, KulturNetz loves to hear about your new ideas and suggestions.

Accueil La Haye, with more than 300 family members, is a social club for French speaking people. We propose various activities (cultural, sports) and organise dinners and parties. We gather information on the Netherlands in our weekly newsletter, and share practical details and events on our website and on Facebook.

Literaturhaus | Deutsche Bibliothek The Hague

Literaturhaus | Deutsche Bibliothek The Hague is dedicated to German-language literature, and works exclusively with volunteers. We organise lectures, movie nights, language cafés, study trips, museum tours, and occasionally an art exhibition, play or concert. You can of course just borrow a book. We look forward to meeting you at our library!
