Welcome to The Hague event
Are you new to The Hague and curious to meet other newcomers? Join us for a special edition of our Welcome to the Hague event on 26 November 2026 for an enlightening and engaging evening! This is the perfect opportunity to connect with other newcomers while receiving practical information about life in The Hague.
This edition is part of Praat Nederlands Day, a nationwide initiative that encourages internationals to practise Dutch in a fun, welcoming and informal way. While Welcome to The Hague remains the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow internationals and learn more about your new home, this special edition will also include opportunities to use and improve your Dutch through an interactive and fun pubquiz. Don't worry if your Dutch is still limited. The goal is simply to have fun, give it a try and build confidence along the way.
This edition will take place at The Fiddler, a traditional English pub and the perfect setting for a fun pub quiz! Organised together with our partner At Home Abroad, you'll test your knowledge of life in the Netherlands while meeting fellow internationals. As part of Praat Nederlands Day, the evening will feature a Meet & Mingle Bingo and a Dutch Culture Pub Quiz.
