Girl Gone International (GGI) - The Hague

Girl Gone International (GGI) is a volunteer powered global and local community on a mission to connect, represent and empower womxn who live and travel abroad. Currently in 200+ cities, the community arrived in The Hague in 2015. GGI is a free co-created safe space for members to connect, engage, meet and make friends at regular social gatherings.

Literaturhaus | Deutsche Bibliothek The Hague

Literaturhaus | Deutsche Bibliothek The Hague is dedicated to German-language literature, and works exclusively with volunteers. We organise lectures, movie nights, language cafés, study trips, museum tours, and occasionally an art exhibition, play or concert. You can of course just borrow a book. We look forward to meeting you at our library!

The Hague International Network

The Hague International Network (THIN) is the oldest network of internationals that live/work in The Hague. Established in 2000, we organise events with international topics and THIN drinks where entrepreneurs and cultural organisations have the opportunity to present themselves in short pitches. We publish a weekly newsletter. Membership is free.

International Women’s Contact The Hague (IWC)

Founded in October 1978, the IWC The Hague is a social and cultural club with the aim of fostering contact and friendship between ladies from various nationalities who share common time and interests. The main language is English. The Club is managed by volunteers who organise events, lectures, excursions and many other activities.

The Expatriate Archive Centre

The Expatriate Archive Centre collects expatriate life stories from all over the world. It facilitates high-quality research that promotes and enhances a greater understanding of expatriate life from a variety of perspectives. The collection includes documentations of everyday life abroad in various formats from the late 19th century to the present.

American Women’s Club of The Hague (AWC)

The American Women’s Club of The Hague is a home-away-from-home for Americans and all English-speaking women. Founded in 1930, we are a volunteer-run organization and stichting. The Club provides social and educational activities, and we actively engage in philanthropic and community service projects in The Hague, the Netherlands, and globally.
