Windmolen Loosduinen

Living in Loosduinen

What was once a small, quaint village has now grown into a widely popular residential area. Its coastal location means that Loosduinen’s 28,000 residents enjoy a unique mix of beachside living alongside city life. Despite the area’s growth, the old village is still visible, featuring plenty of independent shops. A traditional windmill, Molen De Korenaer, is standing as a defining feature at its centre. The district of Loosduinen is located south of The Hague’s city centre and is made up of four neighbourhoods: Waldeck, Kraayenstein-De Uithof, Kijkduin-Ockenburg and Bohemen.
